Your Provider

Our lead practitioner, Diana Simmons, brings over 15 years of experience in psychiatric care and mental health management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2005, followed by a Master’s in Business Healthcare in 2007. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in 2009, specializing as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. With a decade of experience managing severe mental illness at St. Luke’s Hospital and supporting outpatient transitions through Strategic Mental Health, Diana brings a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Today, Diana focuses exclusively on outpatient care, helping adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and co-occurring substance use challenges. Her background in both acute and long-term care allows her to offer a balanced approach, where evidence-based treatments meet an understanding of the personal challenges each patient faces.

Care Related Questions

How do I get in touch with my doctor?

Call our number and speak to the receptionist at the location you are seen at. A message will be left for the provider to contact you, if appropriate. Sometimes, the most appropriate action is to see the patient at the clinic or refer them to inpatient services.

Please know that phone calls cannot always be returned on the same day. All emergencies should be handled by 911, your nearest ER, or calling the Maricopa County Crisis Line.

My family member won’t see a psychiatrist. What should I do?

What should I do if I need to cancel an appointment?

As a patient in our clinic, it is your responsibility to keep scheduled appointments. The clinic requires that all appointment cancellations be received by 3:00pm on the prior business day (for example by 3:00pm on Friday for a Monday appointment).

Failure to cancel the appointment before 3:00pm the business day prior to the scheduled appointment will result in the assessment of a failed appointment fee of $100.

Any appointment scheduled and canceled on the same day will also result in a failed appointment fee.
